Notarial Services

The services of a Notary Public are required for most legal documentation to be used in a Foreign country. The Notary will witness signatures, certify documents, certify copy documents as the Foreign jurisdiction may require. J R M Crompton who is a Consultant Solicitor with the firm is a Notary Public and can provide these services.

People requiring notarisation of documents will need to not only produce the Foreign document but also identification, usually in the form of an original current passport or photo driving licence. Many Foreign countries require a further authentification process called "legalisation under the Hague Apostille". This involves sending the notarised document to the British Foreign Office in London which Mr Crompton will arrange if required.
